HappyHorse 1.1's five aspect ratios vs the Sume video catalog
HappyHorse 1.1 on Cloudflare takes 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 and 3:4. Which Sume video models cover all five, and which do not.

Cloudflare lists five aspect ratios for HappyHorse 1.1: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 and 3:4. On Sume, Wan 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3 cover all five, Kling 3 covers three and Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 covers two. The Sume catalog has no HappyHorse id.
Coverage of the five ratios
The Sume column comes from the catalog's supported_aspect_ratios field, which you can read with GET /v1/videos/models.
| Model | 16:9 | 9:16 | 1:1 | 4:3 | 3:4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| HappyHorse 1.1 (Cloudflare) | yes | yes | yes | yes | yes |
| Wan 3.0 (Sume) | yes | yes | yes | yes | yes |
| Seedance 2.5 (Sume) | yes | yes | yes | yes | yes |
| MiniMax H3 (Sume) | yes | yes | yes | yes | yes |
| Kling 3 (Sume) | yes | yes | yes | no | no |
| Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 (Sume) | yes | yes | no | no | no |
Practical picks
- A 4:3 or 3:4 clip for a feed or a slide: Wan 3.0, Seedance 2.5 or MiniMax H3.
- A 1:1 square: any of those or Kling 3.
- Only 16:9 and 9:16 needed: all of the above, plus Omni.
Extras on Sume
Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3 also take 21:9; Wan 3.0 and Kling 3 do not. Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 accept auto and adaptive ratios. Send an unsupported ratio and the request fails, so read the model's list first.
A note on the 4:3 and 3:4 gap
The two ratios that Kling 3 and Omni do not take are the ones many slide decks and some marketplace listings use. If your output has to be 4:3 and you prefer Kling's look, generate at 16:9 or 1:1 and crop afterwards with Sume's video tools, but expect to lose part of the frame. Compose with that crop in mind from the first prompt.
The reverse also holds: if you only need 16:9 and 9:16, every model in the table works, and price, clip length and references become the deciding factors rather than ratio support.
