GivingTuesday is December 1: what an appeal video pack costs on Sume
GivingTuesday 2026 is December 1, 58 days from October 4. A pack of one 15 s hero, four 6 s cutdowns, a voiceover and a music bed costs $22.70245 on Sume.

GivingTuesday lists its next event as December 1, 2026 (read 2026-10-04), which is 58 days after October 4. A small appeal pack of one 15-second hero clip, four 6-second cutdowns, a 700-character voiceover, one music bed and a transcript costs $22.70245 on Sume.
That is a worked example for a small organisation with a short script. Use your own counts. Everything below is billed from the same USD wallet described in the credits docs.
The pack, line by line
The hero is a 15-second 9:16 Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p: 324,000 tokens, priced at $8.667. Each cutdown is 6 seconds at 720p, 129,600 tokens, at $3.4668.
The voiceover uses the text-to-speech catalog price of $0.0475 per 1,000 characters, so 700 characters is 700 / 1,000 x $0.0475 = $0.03325. A music track is a flat $0.125. A transcript for captions is $0.01 per audio minute, and a 1-minute file is $0.01.
| Item | Quantity | Unit price | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hero clip, 15 s, 720p, 9:16 | 1 | $8.667 | $8.667 |
| Cutdown, 6 s, 720p, 9:16 | 4 | $3.4668 | $13.8672 |
| Voiceover, 700 characters | 1 | $0.03325 | $0.03325 |
| Music track | 1 | $0.125 | $0.125 |
| Transcript, 1 audio minute | 1 | $0.01 | $0.01 |
| Total | $22.70245 |
Where the time goes
Fifty-eight days is long enough for two rounds of tests. Spend the first week on cutdown hooks, since four 6-second drafts at 480p cost $6.448252 in total. Choose the strongest hook, then render the hero.
Keep the script on screen and in the audio. The transcript line is cheap, and caption text is easier to review than a recording.
What a wallet top-up covers
A wallet top-up of $10 is the lowest on-demand amount in the pricing FAQ. The pack costs $22.70245, so a $10 top-up covers the pack and leaves $-12.70245. A second pack with new copy adds the same $22.70245.
Each job reserves its estimate at submit and settles on completion, so a failed render returns its hold. See errors and credits.
