Omni edit came back 720p: how to ask for 1080p on Sume

A gemini-omni-flash-1.1 edit defaults to 720p when you leave resolution out. Set resolution on the request; here is what the edit mode accepts.

If your edited clip is 720p, you did not set resolution. On Sume's Video Router the edit mode treats resolution as optional with a default of 720p. Google's Omni page gives the same default and lists 360p, 720p, 1080p and 4K, with 1080p and 4K described as upscaled (read 2026-10-03).

What to send

Higher resolutions take longer and cost more, so ask for 1080p on the final pass, not on every test.

curl -X POST https://api.sume.com/v1/video-router/generate \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $SUME_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "model": "gemini-omni-flash-1.1",
    "prompt": "Make the sky overcast. Keep everything else the same.",
    "video_url": "https://example.com/clip.mp4",
    "resolution": "1080p",
    "mode": "async"
  }'
