Flux 2 Pro 4 cents or Flex 7: 1,000 images is $40 or $70 on Sume
Flux 2 Pro bills 4 cents and Flux 2 Flex 7 cents on Sume. Both list 13 ratios, including 21:9, and both edit. Cost of 100 to 10,000 images.

On Sume, Flux 2 Pro bills 4 cents per image and Flux 2 Flex bills 7 cents, so 1,000 images cost $40 or $70. Both list 13 aspect ratios, including 21:9 and 9:21, both accept edits, and both take up to 4 images per call. Flex costs 75 percent more per image and the catalog lists no extra control for it.
The numbers
List prices are $0.03 for Pro and $0.05 for Flex. Times 1.25 gives $0.0375 and $0.0625, rounded up to 4 and 7 cents.
| Model | Billed per image | 100 | 500 | 1,000 | 10,000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flux 2 Pro | 4 cents | $4 | $20 | $40 | $400 |
| Flux 2 Flex | 7 cents | $7 | $35 | $70 | $700 |
Pro versus Flex in a decision
The Sume catalog describes the same capabilities for both rows: text-to-image and edit, the same 13 ratios, png, jpeg and webp output, and no quality or resolution tiers. The only catalog difference is the price. Sume does not state what Flex adds, so do not pay the extra 3 cents on assumption. Run the same 20 prompts on each; that is $0.80 on Pro and $1.40 on Flex.
The wide ratios are the reason to look at Flux at all. 21:9 suits a site hero or an ultrawide wallpaper, 9:21 suits a tall phone strip, and 2:1 and 1:2 are listed as well. Among the other rows, only Nano Banana, Qwen Image, Qwen Image Max and Recraft V4 list 21:9.
- Hero banner at 21:9: Flux 2 Pro at 4 cents.
- Edit a photo into a new scene: both rows, references as public HTTPS URLs.
- 10,000 images: $400 on Pro, $700 on Flex, a $300 gap.
Next step
Pick Pro as the default and move to Flex only if your side-by-side test shows a difference worth 3 cents an image.
Using the wide ratios
A 21:9 banner and a 9:21 tall strip are one parameter apart. Ask for 21:9 on a desktop hero, 2:1 for a social card and 9:16 for a Story from the same prompt. Three ratios of one prompt cost 12 cents on Pro and 21 cents on Flex. For a kit of 50 products times three ratios, that is $6.00 on Pro and $10.50 on Flex.
Both rows are pass-through routes with no extra provider options in v1: allowed_passthrough_parameters is empty, so leave provider.options out of the request. Provider routing fields such as only and order accept just the sume slug.
