Cyber Monday Nov 30, 2026: $15.1B forecast, so queue recuts by Sunday
Adobe forecasts $15.1 billion in US online sales on Cyber Monday, Nov 30, 2026. Queue the recuts as one Sume bulk run by Sunday, Nov 29, and cap the spend.

Adobe's forecast puts Cyber Monday, Monday November 30, 2026, at $15.1 billion in US online sales, up 6.2% on 2025, which would make it larger than Black Friday's forecast $12.9 billion. The practical consequence for a seller is timing: the biggest day of the forecast arrives after a weekend, so the creative has to be finished on Sunday, November 29, not on Monday morning.
This post is a work-back plan, not a new feature tour. It uses one Sume Format and the bulk-runs queue, which accepts up to 100 runs in one request, with a concurrency window of 1 to 16.

The figures below are Adobe's forecast for the 2026 season as reported on 2026-09-29. They are forecasts, not results.

|---|---|---|---|
| Thanksgiving | Thu Nov 26 | $6.9 billion | +8.5% |
| Black Friday | Fri Nov 27 | $12.9 billion | +9.2% |
| Cyber Monday | Mon Nov 30 | $15.1 billion | +6.2% |
| Cyber 5 (Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday) | Nov 26 to 30 | $47.5 billion | +7.4% |
A Sunday-night queue
Do the Cyber Monday recuts as a queue, not as 40 manual prompts. Send one bulk request with the SKUs that have a Monday-only price, give every item its own generation_spend_cap_credits, and a fresh Idempotency-Key for the batch. A replayed key returns the old queue, which is useful when your script retries after a network error and harmful when you reuse one key for a changed price list.

# Poll GET /v1/format-run-queues/{id}; "completed" means every item is terminal,
# so branch on counts.failed before you schedule anything. What to check Sunday before you schedule
The queue object has no webhook; each child can register its own, or you poll the queue. A queue marked completed only means every item reached a terminal state, so read the failed count and re-queue those items under a new key.
Adobe also projects that AI-assistant traffic to retail sites rises 130% over the season, with 88% on Cyber Monday. Make sure the product page behind the clip names the price and the sale end time in plain text, because the clip is not the only thing a shopper or an assistant will read.
- Freeze the price list Saturday night; a price change after render means a re-render.
- Hold a 20% spend reserve for failed items.
- Schedule posts Sunday and let Monday run without edits.
