Crowdfunding video music for a 2 to 4 minute pitch without fatigue

A 3-minute pitch video needs music that shifts with the story. Brief three Lyria 3.5 cues at $0.125 each, join with Timeline audio concat at $0.01, then duck.

A 3-minute crowdfunding pitch needs more than one cue, because a single loop under the whole video wears thin by the second minute. A practical approach on Sume is three cues of about a minute each, joined in one Timeline audio concat job (up to 20 parts, flat $0.01 per job, wav or mp3 output) and laid under the picture as a soundtrack. The cues cost $0.125 each on the Music Router.

Three cues, three jobs

  • Problem, 0:00 to 1:00: sparse piano or pad, slow, a little tense.
  • Product and demo, 1:00 to 2:00: rhythm enters, brighter, steady 100 to 110 BPM.
  • Ask and rewards, 2:00 to 3:00: lifted, warm, resolving to a clean ending.

Cost

Keeping the join invisible

Ask each cue for the same key and instrument family in the brief, and for Lyria's "intro, build, resolve" sections via timestamps; Google's music generation page, read on 2026-10-05, documents timestamp prompts. The music router has no duration field, so you will likely get tracks that are longer or shorter than a minute: trim with the audio split job, or accept the natural lengths and cut the picture to them.

Voice matters most in a pitch, so set duck_db on the final soundtrack and lower gain_db. Check the whole file with the unbilled plan call, then render. If the ending feels abrupt, fade_out_seconds can go up to 10 seconds.
