Budget for 100 five-second AI video clips on Sume, by model
100 clips of 5 seconds cost from $31.25 on Wan 3.0 at 480p to $710.78 on Seedance 2.5 at 1080p at Sume's billed rates. Full table inside.

One hundred 5-second clips cost $31.25 at the low end and $710.78 at the high end among the models priced here. The spread is more than twentyfold, which is why a batch budget starts with the model and the resolution, not with the prompt.
Price of one clip, then 100
Each figure is a Sume billed amount: provider list times 1.25. They come from the repo's pricing estimators for a 5-second text-to-video request. Multiply by 100 for the batch. Retries are extra; a failed job is released rather than captured, but a clip you simply dislike is still a paid clip.
| Model and resolution | One 5 s clip | 100 clips |
|---|---|---|
| Wan 3.0, 480p | $0.3125 | $31.25 |
| Wan 3.0, 720p | $0.625 | $62.50 |
| Wan 3.0, 1080p | $1.25 | $125.00 |
| MiniMax H3 Max, 768p | $0.50 | $50.00 |
| Kling v3 Pro, audio off | $0.70 | $70.00 |
| Seedance 2, 720p | $1.89 | $189.00 |
| Seedance 2.5, 720p | $2.889 | $288.90 |
| Seedance 2.5, 1080p | $7.10775 | $710.78 |
Hold the money first
The admission docs say Sume reserves the estimated amount when it accepts a request, captures it on completion and releases it on failure. A batch of 100 Wan 720p clips can therefore have up to $62.50 on hold at once if they are all in flight. If the balance cannot cover a reservation the submit returns 402 insufficient_credits before any provider work starts.
A worked example
Say you are producing 100 product teasers and expect to keep one in three. You need about 300 generated clips to land 100 keepers, which is three times the table figure. At Wan 3.0 720p that is $187.50, not $62.50. At Seedance 2 720p it is $567.00. Planning from the keep rate rather than the clip count is what stops a budget from being wrong by a factor of three.
If the first 20 clips show a keep rate of one in two, update the estimate and continue. Because every job's amount is held at submit and shown on the usage ledger, you can read the real cost of the first 20 before you queue the remaining 80.
Ways to cut the total
- Draft at 480p and re-run only the keepers at 1080p; Wan's 480p rate is a quarter of its 1080p rate.
- Shorten clips. Cost is linear in seconds for Wan, so 4-second clips cost 20 percent less than 5-second ones.
- Do not mix models in a batch until one has passed review; each change of model resets what a clip costs.
