To make a weekly cafe or bakery video from five photos, send each photo as the first_frame of a seedance-2.5 generation, ask for 5 seconds at 9:16, and join the five clips in Timeline 1.0. Sume's docs list seedance-2.5 at 4 to 30 seconds at 480p, 720p or 1080p, and frame_images accepts first_frame and last_frame for it (read 2026-10-03). Check GET /v1/catalog for the live price before you queue the week, because it varies by resolution and length.

Prompt for subtle motion

Pastries do not need a dramatic camera. Describe small things: steam off a cup, a slow push in, a light change. Keep photos in good light and sharp, since the model starts from your pixels and any smear carries through. AI-generated motion on a real food photo may fall under platform AI-label rules, so check where you post.

Draft cheap, finalize once

Generation is async: submit, then poll the job and read its result. Try one photo at 480p first, then run the other four at the final resolution. Join the clips in Timeline 1.0 with 0.25 second fades and a soundtrack, then use Video captions for the offer line. This takes steps you can repeat weekly with new photos.

Limits

The model may invent details such as extra decoration. Look at every clip before posting, and do not run it on a photo with a person in it unless you have their permission.
