Amazon multichannel tools: one media set for four channels
Seller Central now links eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop and Walmart. Auto-formatting is listed as upcoming; media is still yours. Plan one set with Sume.

Amazon's multichannel tools in Seller Central list unified listing management with automatic channel formatting as an upcoming feature. Amazon's announcement does not say the same about images or video, so plan to keep a single master media set and export it per channel yourself. This post shows how to build that set with Sume in one pass.
Amazon described the tools on its news site: sellers can connect eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart accounts to Seller Central, import and link off-Amazon listings, see multichannel sales and orders, and fulfill across channels. The rollout is gradual to sellers in the U.S. store over the coming months, at no additional cost to sellers (read 2026-10-04).
What did Amazon actually announce for listings?
The listing features Amazon names are about text and listing content, and they are listed as upcoming. The page does not describe image or video sizing, so treat media as your job.
The Accelerate 2026 recap says sellers can manage catalog, orders and inventory across Walmart, eBay, TikTok Shop and Shopify from Seller Central (read 2026-10-04).
| Item | What the page says |
|---|---|
| Channels you can connect | eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart |
| Available now | Connect accounts, import and link off-Amazon listings, view multichannel sales and orders, fulfill across channels |
| Listed as upcoming | Unified listing management with automatic channel formatting, AI-generated channel-ready listing content, cross-channel profitability, ad spend and traffic data |
| Availability | Gradual rollout to U.S. store sellers over the coming months, no additional cost |
Which media should you build once?
Each of those channels has its own image and video limits. Rather than re-shooting per channel, make one master image and one master clip per product, then render the aspect ratios you need. Our posts on Shopify video ratios, Walmart main images, Etsy video size and Temu detail video list the per-channel specs to check before upload.
- One reference photo of the real product, taken once, is the input for everything below.
- Images: ask the Image API for each aspect ratio you need from that photo. The catalog lists 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9 and more, but each model accepts only the subset its descriptors list.
- Clip: the video API takes 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 among others, and seedance-2.5 accepts 4 to 30 seconds at 480p, 720p or 1080p.
- Keep the Sume-hosted URL that comes back; that is what you attach to each channel.
How do you render one image per aspect ratio?
Send the product photo as an input reference and ask for each ratio. A 200 response carries the images; a 202 means the job is still running and you read it from the jobs endpoints.
import os, requests
H = {"Authorization": "Bearer " + os.environ["SUME_API_KEY"]}
PHOTO = "https://example.com/product.jpg"
for ratio in ["1:1", "9:16", "16:9"]:
r = requests.post(
"https://api.sume.com/v1/images",
headers=H,
json={
"model": "google/nano-banana-2",
"prompt": "Keep the product identical; soft daylight studio",
"input_references": [
{"type": "image_url", "image_url": {"url": PHOTO}}
],
"aspect_ratio": ratio,
},
timeout=60,
)
if r.status_code == 200:
print(ratio, r.json()["data"][0]["url"])
else:
print(ratio, r.status_code, "poll the job")
What stays manual after the tools roll out?
Three things. First, check each rendered file against the channel's current spec; Amazon's description formatting does not cover that. Second, keep claims accurate: show only what the product does, so the shared description and the media agree on every channel. Third, record which Sume job made which file, so a later edit starts from the same source.
Amazon says it will format listing text for you. A media set made once and kept as Sume URLs is what lets that text sit next to consistent pictures on every channel.
