A brand jingle generator by API is a prompt that names the mood, tempo and hook, sent to a music model. Google lists brand jingles among the Lyria 3.5 templates in the Gemini app, and Sume routes the same model through the Music Router at a fixed $0.125 per generation. What goes in a jingle brief?

Sume's Music 1.0 docs give a seven-part brief: emotion, genre, tempo in BPM, key, instruments, arc and era. For a jingle, keep the arc short and name the sung hook if you want one. Say "Instrumental, no vocals." at the end for a sonic logo.

  • Emotion: confident and friendly
  • Tempo: 118 BPM, key C major
  • Instruments: pluck synth, claps, bright bass
  • Arc: hook in the first 3 seconds, resolve on the tonic
  • Era: modern pop

How do I get a short one?

There is no duration field, and duration or duration_seconds is rejected. Ask for length in the prompt, for example "[0:00-0:15] Hook:" as a marker. Check the finished audio; the length is steered, not guaranteed.

Can I lock a version?

Not by seed. Sume has no seed for music, so a rerun is a new take. Save the artifact you like; media.sume.com URLs are the stored result. Generate three takes with three Idempotency-Keys and pick one.

What about rights?

Sume's docs here cover the API, not a legal clearance. Check your own terms and your distributor's policy before a jingle goes into a paid campaign.
