Creator content live by mid-October for Black Friday: a plan
One agency advises having Advantage+ Shopping with creator content live by mid-October for Black Friday 2026-11-27. A plan and a Sume clip pipeline.

Count back from Black Friday on 2026-11-27: the Common Thread summary advises having Advantage+ Shopping with creator content live by mid-October (page read 2026-10-02). That leaves about two weeks from 2026-10-02. This post is a plan for those weeks, with the clip-preparation steps Sume can do.
Sume does not supply creators or run Meta campaigns. It can trim and caption clips you already have the rights to, which is the slow middle of the plan.
What is the timeline?
Dates are from the summary, except the working steps, which are a suggestion. Adjust to your own approval cycle.
| Window | Step | Who does it |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-02 to 10-06 | Choose products and collect creator clips with usage rights | You |
| 2026-10-06 to 10-10 | Trim and caption each clip; keep the original | Sume trim and captions |
| By mid-October | Ads live in Advantage+ Shopping | You, in Ads Manager |
| 2026-11-27 | Black Friday | Run the winners |
How do I prepare creator clips with Sume?
Cut each clip to its best seconds with POST /v1/video-trim: a start, plus exactly one of end or duration. The clip must already be on media.sume.com (import it first with POST /v1/media-imports). The source stays untouched and the rate is $0.02 per job. Then burn captions with POST /v1/video-captions, which takes a video URL and an optional style.

Can Sume make the creator content itself?
Not as a creator relationship. Sume makes clips and avatar videos, but whether an AI avatar counts as creator content for Meta is a question for Meta's own rules, not this page. If a person is paid or credited, keep the agreement and the original file next to the edited one.
What should I do this week?
Pick three products, get clips for each, and run trim and captions on all of them before the weekend. Ads that miss mid-October can still run; the date is advice from one agency, not a Meta rule.
