Adobe's Firefly plans page says outputs from Adobe Firefly AI models are safe for commercial use, and that its models are trained on licensed and public domain content. The same page lists partner models such as GPT Image, Gemini and FLUX, which are separate from the Firefly models.

Read the claim narrowly

The statement is about Firefly AI models. It is worded for those models only, so do not carry it over to partner models listed on the same page. The Gen AI user guidelines add that third-party rights violations are prohibited, which applies to what a user prompts for.

A practical split

Tag each generated asset with which model made it. That lets you apply the right terms per asset when a client asks.

Sume angle

Sume's docs state billing and model ids, not a commercial-safety claim, so the terms for each model come from that model's provider. Pick an explicit id; sume/auto never discloses the model that ran. See how Sume pricing works.
