A/B/C tiered video budget for a 300-SKU catalog: three models, $511.27
Top 30 SKUs on Seedance 2.5 at 8 s, next 90 on Seedance 2, last 180 on Wan 3.0: $511.27 for 300 videos at 720p, against $1,476.72 for all Seedance 2.5.

A 300-SKU catalog does not need one video model. Put the best sellers on the premium model, the middle on a cheaper one, and the long tail on the cheapest, and the whole catalog costs $511.27 at 720p instead of $1,476.72 on the premium model alone. The prices below are Sume billable prices (provider price times 1.25) from the pricing code, read 2026-10-05, plus $0.20 for captions and $0.10 for one Timeline render per SKU.
The three tiers
Tier A is 30 SKUs on Seedance 2.5 at 720p for 8 s, $4.6224 each. Tier B is 90 SKUs on Seedance 2 at 720p for 5 s, $1.89 each. Tier C is 180 SKUs on Wan 3.0 at 720p for 5 s, $0.625 each. All three accept a first-frame image on POST /v1/videos, per the videos docs, so the same product photo feeds every tier.
| Tier | SKUs | Clip | Clip + $0.30 finishing | Tier total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A: Seedance 2.5, 8 s | 30 | $4.6224 | $4.9224 | $147.67 |
| B: Seedance 2, 5 s | 90 | $1.89 | $2.19 | $197.10 |
| C: Wan 3.0, 5 s | 180 | $0.625 | $0.925 | $166.50 |
| All 300 | 300 | $511.27 |
What the tiers cost against one model
Running all 300 SKUs on Seedance 2.5 at 8 s costs 300 x $4.9224 = $1,476.72. Running all 300 on Wan 3.0 costs 300 x $0.925 = $277.50, and all on Seedance 2 costs $657.00. The tiered plan sits between them and spends its money where the sales are. The averages are $1.70 a SKU tiered, $4.92 on Seedance 2.5 alone and $0.93 on Wan alone.
Tier A is also the only tier where the extra 3 seconds matter: Seedance 2.5 runs 4 to 30 s while Seedance 2 and Wan differ in their ranges, so check the duration you need against the model before you assign a tier.
How to assign SKUs to tiers
Rank by 30-day gross margin, as in the profit-ranking script, then cut at 10%, 40% and the remainder. If you run through Formats rather than the video endpoint, remember a bulk queue holds 1 to 100 items, so 300 SKUs are three queues, as in the 250-SKU queue split. Format runs are priced by the run, so the per-clip table above applies to the direct video route, not to Format runs.
- Hold 15% of the total ($76.69) for retakes, and track the real retake rate per tier.
- Promote a tier C SKU to tier B when its page starts converting, and re-run only that clip.
- Do not move a SKU down a tier mid-run; finish the batch and compare clips afterwards.
Prices can change; confirm the rate in the live catalog before you fund the wallet, and see the Seedance 2.5 per-SKU estimate for the single-model baseline.
