7-second Gemini Omni Flash clip: Google at $0.10/s vs Sume at $0.125
A 7-second 720p Gemini Omni Flash clip is about $0.70 on Google's pricing page and $0.875 on Sume. Sume also lists 360p, 1080p and 4K tiers.

A 7-second 720p clip from Gemini Omni Flash costs about $0.70 at Google's published rate of roughly $0.10 per second, and $0.875 on Sume at $0.125 per second. Google quotes the figure as approximate, derived from $17.50 per million video tokens, so treat $0.70 as an estimate.
Rates compared
Sume lists the model as gemini-omni-flash-1.1, with durations from 3 to 10 seconds, 16:9 or 9:16 output, and native audio always on. Google's page gives one 720p figure for the Flash video model, so the other tiers below are Sume only.
| Tier | Sume per second | Sume, 7 seconds | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 360p | not on the page I read | $0.0375 | $0.2625 |
| 720p | about $0.10 | $0.125 | $0.875 |
| 1080p | not on the page I read | $0.1875 | $1.3125 |
| 4K | not on the page I read | $0.375 | $2.625 |
The gap in one line
At 720p Sume's rate is 1.25 times Google's approximate rate, so a 7-second clip is $0.175 dearer. At 100 clips that is $17.50. Whether that is worth paying depends on what else you buy through the same key.
Choosing between them
If Gemini Omni Flash is the only model you use, Google's direct price is lower by about a fifth, and its own API is the shortest path. If your pipeline also calls Seedance, Wan or MiniMax, Sume's video endpoint lets you change the model field instead of integrating another vendor. It follows the OpenRouter video wire, so a client written from those docs works after a base URL and key change.
One constraint to plan around: the Omni Flash model on Sume tops out at 10 seconds per clip. For a longer piece, generate several clips and join them with the Timeline job.
- Google direct: lowest price for Omni Flash alone.
- Sume: one key for several video models, 360p to 4K tiers.
- Both: re-read the pricing page on the day you run the job.
Reproduce the numbers
Every Sume price on this page comes from the public catalog at https://api.sume.com/v1/catalog, which needs no API key. Fetch it, find the row for the job or model named in the table, and multiply by your own seconds, characters or image count. Sume bills the list price shown in that row, so the catalog figure is the one that applies to your balance.
Vendor figures were read from Google Gemini API pricing on 2026-10-09 and are the vendor's to change. Where a vendor page did not show a number, this page leaves it out instead of guessing, and any assumption that is ours is labeled as one.
