3-minute Reel: Omni hook plus Wan body, 7 jobs for $22.80
An 8 s sume/auto hook and six Wan 3.0 jobs of 28 to 29 s fill 180 s. 720p cost: $1.00 + $21.50 + $0.30 Timeline = $22.80, with the fps note.

A 3-minute Reel (Instagram's new limit, as NapoleonCat reports) can mix models: a short hook where a first impression counts, and a cheap long body. This plan uses one 8-second sume/auto job (Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, audio always on) and six Wan 3.0 jobs.
The plan
The body is 172 seconds. At Wan's 30-second maximum that needs ceil(172 / 30) = 6 jobs, spread as four of 29 s and two of 28 s. Everything is at 720p, where both models bill $0.125 a second.
| Piece | Jobs | Seconds | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hook, sume/auto | 1 | 8 | $1.00 |
| Body, wan-3.0 | 6 | 172 | $21.50 |
| Timeline join | 1 | 180 s output | $0.30 |
| Total | 8 calls | 180 | $22.80 |
Frame rate on the join
Different models can produce different frame rates. If the join judders, set the output fps explicitly in the Timeline instead of letting it follow the sources. A separate post covers this. The Timeline price is $0.10 per started output minute, so 180 s is 3 minutes (Timeline docs).
Slots
Only 7 clips go into the Timeline, which is under the 12-segment point where rendering is chunked.
