2,000 product stills: FLUX.2 Pro $75 vs FLUX.2 Flex $125 on Sume
FLUX.2 Pro is $0.0375 per image on Sume and FLUX.2 Flex $0.0625. 2,000 stills: $75.00 or $125.00. FLUX 3 Image is $0.048 at 1K on fal but not in Sume's catalog.

On Sume, 2,000 product stills cost $75.00 on FLUX.2 Pro ($0.0375 each) or $125.00 on FLUX.2 Flex ($0.0625 each). Those are provider list prices of $0.03 and $0.05 in Sume's pricing code, times 1.25. FLUX 3 Image is $0.048 per image at 1K on fal (read 2026-10-09) and is not in Sume's catalog code as of that date.
What does the batch cost?
| Model | Per image | 2,000 images | Listed on Sume |
|---|---|---|---|
| FLUX.2 Pro | $0.0375 | $75.00 | yes |
| FLUX.2 Flex | $0.0625 | $125.00 | yes |
| FLUX 3 Image, 1K | $0.048 (fal list) | $96.00 at fal list | no |
Why is Flex dearer than Pro?
Flex costs 67% more per image. I do not claim a quality ordering from the price; the catalog lists both as separate models, so run twenty of your products through each and compare by eye before paying the $50 difference on 2,000.
What about the cheaper image models?
Imagen 4 Fast and Qwen Image are $0.025 per image on Sume, so 2,000 stills are $50.00. Seedream 5.0 Lite is $0.04375 ($87.50). The Image API docs explain how to list the live catalog with GET /v1/images/models and read each row's price.
How do I avoid paying for rejects?
- Generate ten per product line first and check hands, labels and edges.
- Image generation is billed all-or-nothing: a failed generation is not charged, per the Image API docs.
- Use
n(up to 10 per call; per-model ceilings can be lower) to keep requests few, and multiply the per-image price byn.
What does the model choice add to a campaign?
If you keep one image in three, 2,000 kept stills need 6,000 generations: $225.00 on FLUX.2 Pro or $375.00 on FLUX.2 Flex. The cheaper rows cost less: $150.00 for Imagen 4 Fast.
Only the prices are compared here. The listed rows differ in what they do well, so test a few of your own products on each before scaling.
A smaller test shows the shape: 100 stills are $3.75 on FLUX.2 Pro and $6.25 on FLUX.2 Flex. The $2.50 difference is small enough to spend on a side-by-side before the 2,000 run. Fix the prompt, the aspect ratio and the product list, change only the model, and compare.
