A 13-week Q4 ad series: 3 variants a week, 312 seconds, $39 at 720p
Three 8-second Omni variants a week for 13 weeks is 312 seconds: $39.00 at 720p, $58.50 at 1080p and $11.70 at 360p on Sume. With a draft-then-final plan.

Three 8-second variants a week for 13 weeks is 39 clips and 312 seconds. On Sume's gemini-omni-flash-1.1 row that costs $39.00 at 720p ($1.00 a clip), $58.50 at 1080p ($1.50 a clip) and $11.70 at 360p ($0.30 a clip). The extra of a draft-then-final plan is small: 39 drafts at 360p plus 13 finals at 1080p (one winner a week) is $11.70 + $19.50 = $31.20.
The weekly rhythm
A weekly series needs a repeatable loop. Monday: write three prompts. Tuesday: render three 8-second drafts at 360p. Wednesday: pick one and render it at 1080p. Thursday: publish. Friday: read the numbers and pick next week's angle. Each step is one or more Sume jobs, and each job returns a usage.cost you can log.
| Plan | Clips | Seconds | Cost on Sume |
|---|---|---|---|
| All at 360p | 39 | 312 | $11.70 |
| All at 720p | 39 | 312 | $39.00 |
| All at 1080p | 39 | 312 | $58.50 |
| 39 drafts at 360p + 13 finals at 1080p | 52 | 416 | $31.20 |
Why the dates matter this quarter
The quarter starts with Google moving its default video model. Google's video page now says to use Gemini Omni Flash as the default, and the three Veo 3.1 preview ids end on October 22, 2026. A series that began on a Veo preview needs a new model by week three. A series that starts on the Sume Omni row has no scheduled model change in the Sume docs, but a vendor can change its models, so keep the model id in config.
Keeping the look consistent
A series needs the same style each week. Omni takes up to 10 image references, tagged <IMAGE_REF_0> and so on in list order, so one reference sheet of your product and palette can ride along with every prompt. It also takes up to 3 short video references of 3 seconds each, which is enough to carry a camera move. Save the prompt template and the reference URLs in the same repository as the schedule.
Keep each prompt to one scene. Eight seconds is enough for one action and one camera move, and prompts that ask for a story in 8 seconds produce rushed clips.
Tracking cost per week
Add the weekly figure to the log: three drafts at $0.30 plus one final at $1.50 is $2.40 a week, and 13 weeks is $31.20. If a week runs over, check whether a draft was re-rendered at a higher rung; that is where the budget leaks.
Cent rounding and the final tally
An 8-second job at each rung is a whole-cent figure: $0.30 at 360p, $1.00 at 720p, $1.50 at 1080p. No rounding applies, so the 13-week totals above are exact. If you change the length to 7 seconds at 1080p you get $1.3125 a job, billed as $1.32, and the totals move by a few cents. Keep clip length fixed for the series and the weekly cost is a constant you can check against the log.
