100 voiceover videos: all-in cost with captions and render
100 voiceover videos cost $31.43 on Sume for narration, captions and render, plus $100 to $462 if each gets a new 8 s clip. The full stack priced.

Putting a voiceover, captions and a rendered file on 100 videos costs $31.425 on Sume, before any new footage. The three lines are 100 voiceovers of 300 characters ($1.425), 100 caption jobs at $0.20 ($20.00) and 100 one-minute Timeline renders at $0.10 ($10.00). Captions and render are 95 percent of it.
A voiceover is the cheap part. All figures are Sume billable amounts read on 2026-10-03; 300 characters is our planning length for a 20-second line, assuming 15 characters per second.
The finishing stack
The Timeline joins the narration to the footage and renders a vertical MP4; its price is $0.10 per started minute, and each video here is under a minute. Captions are a flat $0.20 for a video up to 60 seconds.
If you skip captions on videos that are already burned-in or that will use the platform's own captions, you save $20.00 per hundred.
| Line | Cost |
|---|---|
| Voiceover, 100 x 300 characters | $1.425 |
| Captions, 100 jobs | $20.00 |
| Timeline, 100 x 1 minute | $10.00 |
| Finishing total | $31.425 |
If each video also gets new footage
The most common choice is to put a short generated clip under each voiceover. At 8 seconds per video the footage bill ranges from $100.00 on Wan 3.0 or Omni to $462.24 on Seedance 2.5, and the all-in total moves with it.
If the footage already exists, there is no generation line, and the whole job is the finishing stack.
| Footage source | Clips | All-in total |
|---|---|---|
| Wan 3.0 720p, 8 s clip each | $100.00 | $131.43 |
| Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 720p, 8 s clip each | $100.00 | $131.43 |
| Seedance 2.0 Mini 720p, 8 s clip each | $151.20 | $182.63 |
| Seedance 2.5 720p, 8 s clip each | $462.24 | $493.67 |
| Existing footage (no generation) | $0.00 | $31.43 |
Where to save
Reuse footage across voiceovers: ten clips under ten voiceovers each is not a hundred clips. Skip music on the videos where a trending sound will be added at publish time; each track is $0.125, or $12.50 for a hundred. Keep every video under 60 seconds so caption and Timeline bill once.
A hundred is also a fine size for a trial: price 10 first, multiply by ten, and compare.
What Sume does and does not do
Sume bills each job separately and reserves at submit. It does not match footage to scripts for you; your pipeline does that. Confirm the rates in the catalog.
Rerun the arithmetic
The same line items as a short script, so you can change a quantity and see the total. It is plain arithmetic on the rates in this post; it does not call the Sume API.
